Pool and aqua facilities at the Le Suroit campsite
There is no denying that the Île de Ré’s long sandy beaches are among the island’s key assets when it comes to attracting tourists. The endless array of water sports available on the island, facilitated by the consistent waves and mild climate, mean that there is something for everyone, regardless of your age or level of experience.
However, there is also a lot to be said for the convenience of a swimming pool right on the doorstep of your chalet or mobile home, and the aqua facilities at the Le Suroit campsite do not fail to impress. Avoid the need to clean the sand from your swimwear and benefit from the chance to cool off with a quick dip between chapters of a good book, or enjoy making lasting memories as a family as you frolic in the water with your children.

We’ve also thought of the more sporty types by offering aquagym classes. Several times a week in July and August, you can enjoy a programme of aquatic exercises adapted to all levels to keep in shape during your holidays! Our cheerful sports instructors will give you a real wake-up call in the sunshine. A great way to start your holiday!

The aquatic playground
While, for most adults, the dream poolside experience will most likely involve lying on a towel and basking in the warmth of the island sunshine, any parent will know that this is just not possible unless the children are kept well entertained. This is where our aquatic playground comes into its own. Younger children will love splashing around in the water jets and zooming down the two water slides, one of which is an exciting spiral tunnel slide. The playground is reserved for children aged from 6-12 and, just like the outdoor pool, it is monitored by alert staff during the months of July and August, promising complete peace of mind and the chance to leave the stresses of everyday life behind you.

The indoor pool
If staying at the Le Suroit campsite during the off-season, or on cooler days, you will still have the opportunity to get your required dose of water therapy. Our indoor pool is heated to a cosy 27 degrees, with massage bench seats and jacuzzi areas for the chance to fully unwind and soothe your muscles after a day spent surfing the waves or exploring the island by bicycle. Indoor activities such as aqua aerobics are also available during the day.
Finally, if you fancy the chance to relax and pamper yourself in the bubbles of a Jacuzzi, but prefer a more private experience, be sure to reserve one of our mobile homes or villas featuring a private jacuzzi.
